The idea to start this small business was the love child of multiple events that only the year 2020 could have created.
Heightened social outcries, socioeconomic vulnerabilities of immigrant families, students shifting to online schooling, raging environmental degradation, and my personal struggles with unemployment and housing insecurity were all major factors of why this business is alive right now.
I'd like to formally thank anyone who comes across my site and this brand because it means a lot to be seen, even on a virtual space. Particularly now more than ever, I think it's important to exercise kindness and outreach no matter what medium or way you decide to go about it. So thank you! I truly am honored to have you here. About Me:
My name is Martha and I am finishing my Bachelor's of Science in Geography (with a focus on Environmental Studies) and my Bachelor's of Arts in Science, Technology, and Society. I'm returning to university in Spring of 2022 and will be utilizing the funds from this small business to fuel my basic needs, so any purchase from the shop is your act of literally sustaining me.
I have so many aspirations for what I'd like to do with my education: pursue environmental advocacy, mental health education, partake in any kind of education reform in U.S. public schools, perhaps become a voice actor/performer one day, who knows. I just know that I know absolutely nothing about how the future could unfold. I do know that I play a significant role in shaping my attitude and ability to adapt towards the changing future, so I'll focus on those two for the time being.
